New feature: Bookmarks import from Firefox!

A small (but rather useful to new users) feature has made its way into the NetPIM:
One can now import firefox bookmarks into the bookmarks section of the NetPIM.
There is a new link at the bottom of the bookmarks, it is rather easy to do so just go have fun !
New feature: Personal Wiki!

A new feature is online on the NetPIM: the Personal Wiki Pages.
You should see a new menu item for it as of right now.
What is it?
Simply put it is a way to create private webpages that you can fill with informations you might want to remember for later.
You can create pages for your cooking recipes, for your project ideas, ... and as the rest of the NetPIM you can then check then later on (or even update them) from anywhere.
The tags system works with them too, so if you tag all your cooking pages with cooking your can easily find your recipes.

A new feature is now online on the NetPIM: Bookmarks
You should see a new menu item for it, it works quite like the address book so it should be easy to navigate.
It is a rather simple module, but so useful!
You can use this bookmarklet in firefox to easily bookmark directly to the NetPIM:
javascript:location.href='http://netpim.info/online-pim/online-bookmarks/add?url='+escape(location.href);
Obviously this will only work if you told NetPIM to remember you, or if you previously logged in.
The tag system obviously works with the bookmarks too and as usual is the way to organize them.

Welcome to the NetPIM!
NetPIM is now taking registrations, we hope we will satisfy you.
** But what is NetPIM exactly?
NetPIM is a "web2.0" service which aims to allow people, you, me, your mother and uncle, to store their personal informations in a common place on the web. This way they can retrieve them anywhere, anytime with a simple browser.
** What is available?
- Online Calendar: Setup events and reminders to remember what to do and be notified by email
- Online Address Book: Enter you contacts informations in your address book and be able to access them from anywhere. Ever forgot a friend's phone number? Forget no more!
- Birthday notifications: Never ever forget a birthday anymore!
- LDAP access to the address book: Link all your email clients to the NetPIM database, nothing easier!
** What is planned for the future?
NetPIM evolved from the needs of its makers, it fulfills them well, but we plan to add more, for your satisfaction:
- VCard export
- VCalendar export
- Private documents storage
- Personal wiki
- SMS Events notifications
- many more

** What is *NOT* NetPIM?
NetPIM is not a social networking site, you will not share your data, you will not see other people's data. We think some things are personal values and as such should not be shared.
